Does the Acoustic Earpads perk work in Arena Breakout Infinite?

In Rxckstar and itsbuggyman's test, hearing range in a T6 helmet was 22 meters with and without the perk, so no measurable difference.

The new Acoustic Earpads perk is supposed to reduce how much sound your helmet blocks. Buggy and I measured how far you can hear someone in a T6 helmet with and without it.

Worth it?
